The Cow That Went Oink

The Cow That Went OINK is a story of a pig and cow who are laughed at by the other farmyard animals until they teach each other to make a new animal sound. There are valuable lessons in this story, including why it’s not nice to laugh at others, that it’s ok to be different and it even touches on the value of being bilingual.

This story ties in well to learning animal vocabulary and animal sounds. It’s also a good way to revise feeling and emotion vocabulary.
