Structures
While not essential, you may want to help your learners acquire and/or use the following phrases and structures:

Yes, of course! Maybe you have the time and enjoy creating things, but it has to be said that being a young learner teacher can involve a HUGE amount of extra work making materials. Give yourself a break!

Yes! With lower levels you may choose to work on a fewer number of items at a time, and with higher levels you can stretch them with the whole gambit.
Use the text cards with older children to practise literacy skills.
Challenge higher levels to categorise the pictures and justify their choices.
These card sets aren’t designed to be used for a whole lesson, but they can certainly be used across a complete series of lessons on the topic. You can even use them in other topic based lessons.
You can, but many of the cards you’ll find have the text and the pictures on the same card. Having them separately gives you more learning opportunities. Plus, with these cards, the different formats are perfect for different pair and group work, AND they come with great activity suggestions so you have tons of games to play straightaway.
