These Go Away Big Green Monster Board Games include 6 boards divided into 3 types:
*Colouring Boards (to be used with annotate/draw software)
*Text and Picture Match Boards (pictures can be dragged in place)
All boards can be used to practise body parts, colours and story language.
Within each game type, there are 2 boards:
Board 1 – Face vocabulary (the items that appear in the story)
Board 2 – Face and Body vocabulary (extending on the items in the story)
Board game pieces can be dragged and dropped as the players move from START to FINISH. The games can be played as part of an online teaching or therapy session or set as an assignment for independent play and study. Physical dice can be used but we suggest using a virtual dice or virtual spinner. Simply have it open in your browser on another tab separate from your boomlearning page.
The audio may be useful for listen and repeat game play, for literacy support with the text boards or for independent use. Game play suggestions are included for ideas on dynamic game play to maximise language use.
