Pink is for Boys by Robb Pearlman and Eda Kaban challenges the blue/pink gender binary with the very simple message that all the colours are for everyone. It’s a great story to teach colours vocabulary. Children love the beautiful illustrations and spotting the colours in each picture.

Use these digital games for some fun interactive colours practice. Let your kids choose a number, then race to find something the same colour in the room. Can they remember the names of the colours in English? Do they remember the objects that were that colour in the story?
