What is included?
This 61 page pack includes 55 templates of 17 different resources. Activity suggestions are included with ideas for how you can adapt and use the templates to create effective and engaging activities for your young learners.
Product includes a zip file with the editable PowerPoint and a pdf file. The pdf file can be made interactive with free online tools if using virtually.
Please note that the files are included in a ZIP file. After downloading, unzip with your favourite ZIP software.
What are the resources?
- Character build worksheet
Edit the sentence starters to suit the level and age of your learners.
- Dice template
Easy to add in images, questions or get your students to create their own.
- Graphing sheets
4 different sheets to use in conjunction with the dice template. See the Activity Suggestions for how you can use these in group or whole class games. Also useful for extension survey activities.
- Dominoes templates
2 different templates – one with supporting numbers, one without. Add in images, text or a combination between the two.
- Fan templates
2 sheets – one with 8 segments and another with 12. These are useful for sequencing, story retelling, or as vocabulary practice tools and records of learning.
- Jigsaw templates
6 different templates. Simply add in your image and send to back to create simple jigsaws puzzles for even your littlest learners.
- Fortune Teller templates
2 templates – one with numbers, another without. The folding guidelines will support your youngest students. Easy to add in images or text to suit your needs.
- Number Maze templates
Some simple mazes that can be used as fast finisher or filler activities. Adjust the numbers to suit the level of your students, and jazz them up with images that complement your topic.
- Storyboard template
A simple storyboard that you can add pictures or text to, or even get your students to draw their own.
- Mini-book templates
5 different templates with accompanying sheets for find and stick activities. These make sure that the images and text fit the boxes on the book templates.
- Bingo board templates
2 different bingo templates in both colour and black and white. A table template is also included to easily paste in your images for a find and stick activity.
- Story slider templates
An outer slider template with an easy to cut section for young learners, and two options for the inner slider template. You also have a table template for find and stick options. Again, just slot in the images and text you need.
- Snakes and ladders templates
2 different templates in both colour and black and white. There is a longer and shorter version. The snakes and ladders are included. The kids (or you) need to add in the text or images on the blank squares.
- Board game templates
2 different templates in colour and black and white. A simple journey from start to finish that you can jazz up by adding a background image to tie in with your story or topic.
- Mini-cards template
A template with 12 cards the you can populate then use in small group card games. Perfect for pair work.
- Matching card templates
3 different matching card templates. These are simple cards that you cut down the centre to make simple jigsaws or matching games. Starter text is included: “I am a…”; “It’s a…”; “They are…” You can adapt this as you see fit!
- Flashcard templates
