This FREE Elmer Simplified Storytelling Script is an adapted version of the story by David McKee.
 
It is specially written for EFL / ESL kids who are learning English. In this version, we deliberately include more repetition of colour and description language. We also include greetings and more animal vocabulary.
 
You can use it to prepare for storytelling sessions or even use it as the basis for a classroom play or theatre production.

  • Meaningful Stories

    The story of Elmer is wonderful, you can work many vocabulary and concepts with your students, using beautiful illustrations, games or dramatizing this story. Elmer is different… And the truth is that everybody are different… And that’s good and enriching for all us. We can learn with others and help others, depends on the circumstances.
    Elmer has a strong message: Be yourself… Is great!
