What will my ESL young learners learn?
There are plenty of opportunities to develop listening and speaking skills, and you can even practise reading and writing skills with the tracing, matching and gapfill templates.
It’s perfect for practising nature and family/people vocabulary. Of course, they’ll get lots of opportunities to follow and retell the story too.

The provided activity suggestions give you all the steps you need to create a fun and engaging lesson for your young learners. Add in the storytelling and a game to revise the nature language, and you’re ready to go.
You can certainly find some free worksheets out there, but it’ll be very difficult to find one that will offer you as much engaging language practice, or cater to different abilities. The activity suggestions that are included here, will really help you increase the fun and interaction.
